Manifesto
For an International Law scholarship committed to human dignity.
LAPDIH was born from the conviction that International Law requires, in Brazil, a permanent space for rigorous, plural scientific research connected to global academic production.
We are guided by a commitment to protecting human dignity, especially populations most exposed to the violence of armed conflicts and the vulnerabilities of transnational families.
By encouraging academic production and the training of new researchers, we reaffirm that the internationalization of Brazilian research is essential for the country's qualified participation in the global legal debate.
Mission
To produce excellent scientific knowledge in International Law.
To foster research, editorial production and institutional cooperation in International Humanitarian Law and International Family Law.
Vision
To be an academic reference in International Law.
To establish itself as a Brazilian hub recognized internationally for the scientific quality of its output and its network-based engagement.
Values
Rigor, ethics, cooperation and protection of human dignity.
Academic integrity, intellectual pluralism, commitment to Human Rights and permanent dialogue between research and practice.
